Halley's Comet is a hybrid bred by Edgar Valdivia, known for producing some of the largest fruit of any dragon fruit variety with long, dramatic bracts that give it a distinctive comet-like appearance.
Fruit and flavor
Very large fruit, often 1.5–2+ lb, with pink-red skin, exceptionally long flowing green bracts, and magenta flesh. Offering a pleasant berry-like taste with mild tropical notes — valued more for its impressive size and ornamental appearance than for exceptional flavor.
