Peruvian Yellow is a white-fleshed, moderately sweet dragon fruit (pitaya) cultivar of Selenicereus undatus that sets fruit without a second variety. It flowers May–September and fruit ripens 35 days after flowering.

Distinguishing features
S. megalanthus from Peru. Bright yellow skin, white flesh with tropical notes. 5-6 month development. Most thorns of any variety. Weakness: extremely thorny. Premium market prices.

Dragon fruit with yellow flesh. Sugar content (Brix): 16-18. Harvest when skin color changes and fruit gives slightly to pressure.
